A Friend in Need

Dear Friends:
PIGGY INK is asking for your fervent prayers for the Mardy family, founders of both Foyer de Sion and Sion Fonds.
Sunday, as our dear friends were leaving their chapel in Haiti their 2 1/2 year old son was kidnapped from them. The kidnappers are asking an exorbitant sum of money for his safe return. They have had several leads and several arrests have been made, but still their son has not been found or returned.
We cannot begin to fathom the breadth of emotions they have been going through as they struggle through this difficult time, but true to their characters, they are holding onto faith and moving forward. Guesno, the father, says they can feel the answer in our prayers... I am sure that he means they can feel the peace of our Savior.
Please join us in prayer for the safe and quick return of their sweet son, Gardy.
Meanwhile, we go on with our project of raising money for Sion Fonds by way of Christmas Cards for Haiti. We feel that education is the very best way to stop this cycle of insanity and poverty in Haiti. Please join us in our Revolution -- not to be confused with revulsion. (A couple of YOU's make the difference.)
